10 weeks and House Update!

10 Weeks!

Wow, the bump really shows up well in pictures haha! This was taken at the end of the day when the bump is more out... and Im looking a little tired! :)

Here is this weeks baby update!

*How far along?: 10 weeks 4 days

*Total weight gain?: 5-6 lbs

*How big is baby?: The size of a prune....about 1- 1/2 inch

*Sex:  not sure yet

*Maternity clothes: Im wearing all maternity pants and lots of loose shirts. Dresses are good too, but its still a little cool outside. Bella band is not as great now....my pants wont stay up in the back with the band.

*Stretch marks: Nope and Im basting myself like a Thanksgiving turkey1-2 tines a day! (Thats what the directions say )

*Sleep: Good this week! Only waking up once to go potty and sleeping great otherwise! 

*Movement: Just my indigestion haha!

*Food cravings: Fruit is still good...but a lot of things just dont sound good. Eating meals is a challenge cause Im so picky right now! 

*Labor signs: N/A

*Belly button in or out: Still in.

*What I miss: Being able to throw on just any outfit. Getting dressed takes a little more planning since so many things do not fit anymore!
*What I'm looking forward to: Our next ultrasound on the 25th! Im hoping to see a little money shot :) I know it will still be early (12weeks) but there is a chance to see it!

And now for the house update! We are moving in this weekend and I could not be more excited! I took these pics over the weekend and we now have carpet but not much else is left to do! I will be sure to take some pics of our move!

Below is the rug I orderd from Crate and Barrel that will go in the den.

I have had my eye on this rug for 6 months and finally going to get it!

Close up of my chandelier! This was quite a bargain! It is a $1600 light that I got for $500! I got it from Lux Lighting in Duluth....they are awesome!!

My wonderful husband in the loft. I told him we could play Romeo and Juliet haha!

The nursery!! We went ahead and did the trim but will not paint until we know the sex.

Bonus room...this will be a great playroom :) For us and the baby!

9 WEEKS!

Well, only 3 more weeks until I'm finished with the first trimester!! I have actually been feeling really good with the exception of getting tired at 7 every night! I managed to make it until 9:30 last night and actually saw 10:00 2 times last week! My poor husband....he is left alone to watch TV everynight since his wife can't stay awake! Thankfully he is beyond supportive and completely understands :)

We are moving into our house on March 20!!! My husband and I spent the weekend watching our driveway be poured, purchasing the lighting for our house, hanging mirrors and putting knobs on all 78 of the cabinet doors and drawers! ( Ok so I was more of a spectator for the last part) Needless to say all of this wore my little pregnant self out! But we got a lot done and we are SO close! Only 12 more days!!!

Here's whats happening with me and the baby!

*How far along?: 9 weeks 3 days

*Total weight gain?: 5-6 lbs

*How big is baby?: Small

*Sex: No clue

*Maternity clothes: All of my work pant will no longer button so I did get some pants this weekend, but they are still kind of loose. Bella band is still working nicely! :)

*Stretch marks: Nope and my Mamma Mio tummy butter is on its way!

*Sleep: OK, having some weird dreams and being wide awake from 430-530. But other than that pretty good.

*Best moment this week: Buying a good bra haha!

*Movement: Nope

*Food cravings: Still pasta...and fruit, specifically strawberries and pineapple!

*Labor signs: N/A

*Belly button in or out: Still in...and its VERY in so Im interested to see what happens!

*What I miss: Nothing yet, too excited about being pregnant!

*What I'm looking forward to: Looking pregnant, right now I just feel fat :(

8 Weeks!

8 Weeks!


Wow, the weeks are moving pretty quickly! I got to see and hear the heart beat again on Friday and that was great! The little thing is starting to look like a little baby now! I could make out a head, body and little arm and leg stumps! It measured at 14 mm long and had a heart rate of 163 bpm! I think that will be the last u/s for a while...probably until we get to find out the sex!
Here is what's happened this week!

*Total weight gain?: 4- 5 lbs

*How big is baby?: About an ounce

*Sex: No clue

*Maternity clothes: Nope, but just bought a bella band

*Stretch marks: Nope and my Mamma Mio tummy butter is on its way!

*Sleep: Good, haven't been as hungry at night this week

*Best moment this week: Hearing and seeing the heart beat!

*Movement: Nope

*Food cravings: Lots of carbs, hearty meals like pasta :)

*Labor signs: N/A

*Belly button in or out: Still in...and its VERY in so Im interested to see what happens!

*What I miss: Nothing yet, too excited about being pregnant!

*What I'm looking forward to: Finding out the sex
